Kota Kinabalu - Easter 2017

We have just spent a lovely week in Sabah, Malaysia, staying at the Shangri-La in Kota Kinabalu.  What a fabulous resort  !!

The boys had loads of activities to keep them busy - archery, kayaking, kids club, golf, bocce, two pools, horse riding - it was brilliant.

And the adults had all they needed too - sunshine, peace and quiet, pool loungers, a good book and a cold drink.  What more is there to make a holiday perfect.  Oh yes, food.  The restaurants at the resort were all amazing - we particularly enjoyed the very good Indian restaurant - which was the one we chose to visit twice.  Old habits die hard.

The resort was great, the golf course challenging and the best thing was, it was only a 3 hour flight from home.  We will most likely make another trip to KK in the future.

The only downfall of the week was the huge number of sandflies :(   They had a lovely time eating us all and we are still paying the price now.

Hope you all had a very happy Easter.
