The final stop on our US adventure was Las Vegas, with a trip out to the Grand Canyon. Our trip started a little bumpy with Mike collecting the wrong luggage at the airport - a quick taxi ride back and all was sorted. Many people don't like Vegas, but we love it with all it's bright lights and 'shopping' !! We managed to limit our shopping during our first 2 weeks to avoid the excess baggage costs, therefore Vegas was our shopping hotspot. Even the boys had fun with a morning of outlet shopping.
We stayed at the Bellagio Hotel which is such a fabulous hotel - great facilities and a wonderful location. We managed to have a good balance of pool time, shopping, and adventure. The pools at the Bellagio are great - with a couple of chilled pools to help with the extreme hear.
Out trip to the Grand Canyon was an absolute highlight and the boys loved the helicopter ride. A must do if you're ever near Vegas. The views are spectacular - like you're on another planet.
Our afternoon at Circus Circus was another highlight. The boys loved the rides and we found it to be great value for money if you have the time to spend the afternoon.
Our flight home to Hong Kong was long long long, but we made it safely and have the most amazing memories of our 3 week vacation.
