Last Friday was the Primary Sports Day at the boys school and they were SUPER excited to be able to compete at another Athletics carnival. The school is divided in to the Pandas, Tigers, Phoenix and Dragons. As you can see from the photos below - we were PANDAS !!
Jack was first up to run the 400m and he was quite nervous but keen to see if he could win against his classmates. Well, he ran a great race and hit the last corner about 1 metre behind and then started the sprint and won easily!! What a little champion !
Jack continued the day and did very well in all his races and events. He especially loved the relay races.
Max also won most of his events - especially loving the 100 sprint and the long jump, which are his two favourite events.
The boys loved all of the sports events, but also loved the camaraderie and fun that comes with being part of the team. Each group of kids had their own specific chants and by the end of the day both our boys had no voice left !
The rest of the day was a lot of fun of jumping, running, throwing and generally having a blast.
