Phuket for Easter

How lovely to see the big blue beautiful sky on our 6 day vacation in Phuket.  This winter in Hong Kong has been very cold and Good Friday was an extension of that with it being the coldest in 38 years.  We were ready for some sunshine and warmth, and, of course, some beach and pool time.  Phuket didn't disappoint with temperatures in the high 30s for the entire time we were there.

Staying in a nice resort always makes for a relaxing time and the JW Marriott did not disappoint.  We really enjoyed the resort facilities and basically we spent our time between the beach, the various pools and the kids club.  The boys made some new friends and this gave Mike and I some time to just relax and catch up on some reading.  I managed to get through 2 books in 6 days...... heaven !  We even managed to get a massage whilst there.

The restaurants at the resort were all great - highly recommend the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa for a fabulous break from reality.

The boys and I did a lovely morning bike ride around the local area which was lots of fun.  Well, apart from my flat tire on the way home….. well it made me jog back, so I suppose that’s a good thing.

The turtle conservation project at the resort was really interesting and Max was quite taken with the whole idea of rescuing and caring for injured turtles. They really do a great job.

Not much to say really, except that if you get the chance to go - then do. xx
Enjoy my gazillion photos. x

isn't this just beautiful..... we have missed seeing it in HK.

Max really is a clown !
